and am now a Senior Designer & Strategist at Tandem NYC where we work for non profits and social justice movements.
Today, I want to talk about two topics I really care about and one that I really don’t: Design, Sustainability, and AI.

While I am sure some of you came for the AI, I hope you will stay for the sustainability. I’m pretty tired of hearing about AI and unfortunately, this talk is about AI too.
Before we start, some quick disclaimers: I’m not an Artificial Intelligence expert. While today will be primarily focussed on web design, this talk is ultimately more philosophical than technical. And if you’re not a web designer or even designer, I hope there’s a value in considering the the moral and social implications of the choices we make in our work, and our day to day lives.
